to find out that banana's could be so tasty!

I've had a wonderful meal today. First and foremost, Katie (exchange student from Aussieland) has offered to treat me to home cook dinner because she bought too much ingredients. She made stir fry with egg on brown rice. Then came NJ (transfer student from Korea) who offered lots of kimchi and korean rice wrapped in seaweed. I'm probably going to get that combination of food if its not too expensive. What's better than pre-made rice with kimchi? Its just really convenient you know.
Anyway, I went to do a little grocery shopping today (before class) and bought bananas (that was really tasty when I ate it in the evening), oats (for its affordable and probably filing), cereal bars (affordable) and hangers. I also got myself sketch books that were on promotion. I'm happy.

Classes has been really interesting thus far. The scary thing about this is that it's going to be a lot of work, since 1. I am taking 2 history classes at the same time, 2. I'm doing 15 credits hrs, just so that I can cover more things while paying the same amount of money

Here's a brief summary of my understanding of the courses that I'm taking this semester
3D (cores) - we will be doing a bunch of projects in which the end result would be a tangible 3 dimensional object. The four projects encompasses sculpture made from wires, clay, wood, and I don't remember the last. We've been told to make sketches of our chosen word thus far, and since it's a little too open, I decided to make, like 8 sketches. Hopefully that's enough for tomorrow. Oh yes! The instructor is planning on a field trip as well.
4D (cores) - have yet to go for the first class. All I know is that it involves video/photo editing. So that should be fun. There will also be a paper/essay thing thats required from this class
Art history - one midterm, one term paper, finals, as well as participation. The course seems to cover a wide range of art history, a lot of which I am very interested to learn about. I've purchased the book from my room mate, and believe that I will make it. We will have to either go to the museum, or a tea party or a cathedral for the term paper.
Intro to the modern arts - supposedly something that's taken after passing the art history class. But because of my weird situation, they waived that requirement, allowed me to be in this class. Well, I must admit that they tried to talk me out of this because they seem to feel that these two classes, if taken together, might be too heavy, especially during mid-term. Nevertheless, I'm going to move straight on! I'm convinced that I will be able to handle it.
Diversity studio - for this class, I will be mentoring a middle school student about art. Generally, the class involves mentoring (journal from those sessions), readings, a book critique, final review of the mentoring, and well.. participation.
Overall, everything seems like fun, but its going to involve a lot of work. Oh well, wish me luck!
Ciao
