Random

Although I'm not a big fan of Siti Nurhaliza, I thought that this song was sung very well. I'm beginning to see why, she's slowly becoming internationally famous (at least in South East Asia)

A reminder

I was bored. Somehow, I didn't have the mood to study when I was at the library, and I started playing around with Photoshop.. TADA! I made myself a desktop reminder, to sort of boost up my confidence. I don't know if it works~ but we'll see...

Enjoy
p/s: somehow, it looks a little different~ Maybe I should have done this in the RGB Mode, instead of CMYK ~ Ohwell.. it sill looks pretty XD

Name of piece: Reminder
Size: 1024 X 768

On the side note, I did the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator test. My result indicates that I am an "ENFP". I don't know if the result was the same back then, when I first took this test in Mrs. Singh's PSYC 101 >.<

To learn more about ENFP's [me =.=] please visit the links below:

  • Special thanks to Tom, for bringing this up XD

Driver's license? (this is bad- waiting for the reply from the staff) problem solved

    1°: Oil Paint

    Name of piece: NIL
    Medium: Oil Paint
    Size: NIL
    Status: Incomplete

Actually, the painting does not look like that! Serious! The strokes are nicer and what not.. Ohwell.. too bad.. nYahahhah~Most probably doing another 2 more layers. Had to wait for a day of two for the first layer to dry up~ ARGH.. FINALLY! When I was painting this, I made a mess out of everything that was on my desk: laptop, [my] desk, [my] wires (ohkay.. cable might have been a better word), and so on. Luckily, I didn't paint my own body~ which I used to do [all the time].

My memories of my first time [using different kinds of art media] is still vivid. I practically broke my first color pencils and crayons when I first used that because my art teacher said, "you should put more pressure on the tip of the pen/crayon so that it looks nicer". And so, I thought, I should use all my strength to color my drawing. In the end, I must have broken the pencils/crayons at least twice, and made a mess when I was attempting to sharpen the color pencils. A few months later, I started using poster color, and colored my hands, legs, forehead, nose, neck.. practically every part of my body (and, of course, the table, the wall, the floor, and et cetera). The same thing happened when I started using charcoal + soft pastel +mural paint + oil paint. SIGH. Messy me >.<

Oh well... with everything so technolyzed right now.. I hardly get the chance to use these tools anymore. SOOO.. I'm actually really glad to have started painting again. It brings back a lot of good memories of my happy sundays (art classs as held on sundays). Will probably write about my experiences during art classes in detail in another post, someday. I believe that the things I've done during that period of time, is one of the best in my life time, and I really enjoyed it from the bottom of my heart XD

Saw this in kit's website, and thought that its really funny. Check it out!

    How to eat sushi

    Laterz

    Over the weekend

Alright... its time for a SUPER LONG POST about what happened over the weekends. I must say that last week was really interesting.

    5Day:

Had this for lunch ~ thanks to Tom [THANK YOU SO MUCH].. wahahhaa. It was so filling that I didn't need to eat dinner.. really.. BUT I ate more stuffz (ie. chicken wings!!! and after the talk about "the conflicts in a dyadic conversation". Having heard of what the speaker had to say, I realize that I've been doing the right things (serious~) in attempt to solve conflicts in my life. However, things aren't always as simple as that. If I were given the choice, I'd definitely choose to live a life that's conflict free.. you know, the happily ever after kind of life (must have been watching too much cartoons). Later that night, Carmen, Ayaka, Jim (or was it Jimmy), Tom and I went to watch Scary Movie 4 (not going to disclose anymore details).

    6Day:

My day didn't start until 2p.m [that's when I woke up]. Went to the library immediately [2 hours later] because I knew that I had to finish up my research paper as soon as possible. Met Elaine and Tracy [they were about to go home T_T]. Got really depressed all of a sudden [don't ask]. Not to mention, I was SUPER hungry at that time.

So, after serious consideration of whether to turn up at Udon, I decided to hang out with a bunch of friends [in Udon in conjunction with Joe's birthday on the next day] for the night [I had to eat something =.=]. Played UNO [freaky- all that cut here cut there], and gossiped for a couple of hours before they decided to change the venue. Went to the game room at Owen Hall. I started of by playing pool, then gossiped, played ping pong [at first with Helen, and then with Helen, Jomay and Sandy ~ I was hyper, and they started getting hyper~ must have been dinner at Udon - excessive amount of glucose? =.=], and finally fusball. We left that place at four in the morning [craziness]. And NO! I did not go to bed until seven in the morning, when I finally gave up on the paper, and decided to get some sleep.

    7Day:

Woke up just in time to watch David Copperfield LIVE! [together with Tim, Joe, Mic, and Lup] I must say that he's really THE Grand Illusionist of our time. And yeah.. I really enjoyed the show. Will elaborate more on this, once I get more details from Linda about his show on Saturday. After that 2 hours of mesmerizing illusions, we WALKED to the main library. To my awe, we met lots of people [Tom, Christine, Michael, Karen, Ethan, and et cetera] upon arriving there. Oh.. I forgot to mention that I had a BOX of books ~ Tim carried it for me from IM East to the Wharton Center, and then from Wharton Center to the main library~ ARIGATOU GOZAIMASU!. Uhuh.. those books were my sources for the research paper that was due the day after. Luckily, I managed to complete the paper on time. Of course, I had breaks, once in a while, for dinner and what not. Dinner was, as usual, delivery from RIA. Arrive home safely in the wee hours, thanks to Michael and Chirstine [They've been giving me rides from the library back to McDonel~ THANK YOU SO MUCH].

    INTERESTING?

    And today (Monday)

Had dinner with Helen~ gossiped a whole bunch of stuff. We were about to stop, but then, Jomay turned up, and we talked for hours! o.O.After that, I went to the law library to finish up MORE readings for WRA and was lucky enough to get a ride home from Paul [THANK YOU].

I guess that's all for this entree >.<

    Later
p/s: Just received an e-mail from Janice about some fun stuffs that is scheduled for Saturday, and next Monday. Looks like its going to be another interesting weekend. This might just work out, after a stressful week of other projects.
    p/p/s: Got the override for STA 114 .. HOORAY~
p/p/p/s: Waiting for the AOP to send me an e-mail about their decision

    Egg-ies

I wish I could have taken the picture of all the eggs.. but I totally forgot about it =.=

    Later
p/s: My interview is scheduled on Friday
p/p/s: My end of the year report sounds pretty good =D

    Tuesday, April 11

    The temperature is...

    22°C >.< V

It sure feels like home [ahemm* during the monsoon season] and I feel much better now XD

Got a phone call from the CAS department regarding part-time employment for AOP in mid June, to find out that I have to apply through the website, and then, sign up for another interview... My bad; for thinking that I could just get a job by leaving my advisor a note (it did seem that I would get a job, just like that - but I guess I misinterpreted the way things are done). Anyways, will see how that goes. Should I not get this job, I'll probably hunt for another LOLz.. I'm just not in the mood to JUST study for the entire summer. YES. I'd probably be better of without one, but, no offense, text books are like monsters that drains my energy away. I need to TALK! TALK! TALK! LAUGH! LAUGH! LAUGH! and do some other stuffz XD

Like.... COLORING EASTER EGGS!!! Will be doing that tomorrow... EXCITED!

[BUT but.. what about WORK?! <-- I need to rest! Afterall, I'm just a[lazy] human =.=
