    Friends

    Hey dudes and dudettes,
Wanted to tell you that all of you are "priceless" (yea yea.. from the MasterCard campaign). Hope that all of you are doing fine. Do keep in touch with me! Would really appreciate it.

"No birth certificate is issued when friendship is born. There is nothing tangible. There is just a feeling that your life is different and that your capacity to love and care has miraculously been enlarged with out any effort on your part. It's like having a tiny apartment and somebody moves in with you. But instead of becoming cramped and crowded, the space expands, and you discover rooms you never knew you had until your friend moved in with you."

    -- Steve Tesich

Cheers! ( and NO! I'm not drunk)

On the side note: SNOW SNow WIND WInd... go aWAY~ Little ManEe wants to play (",)

    Wonderful weekend

I had a wonderful weekend. Unlike the normal weekends when I have tons and tons of work piled up, I only had one paper and a group project due next week. And the week after, you ask? It’s SPRING BREAK! Well - I wouldn't say that I am really looking forward to it (since I'll be staying in the dorms, trying to motivate myself to prepare myself for the upcoming exams and to finish up the "never-ending" load of assignments and presentations), but nevertheless, it’s going to give me ample of time to get a good rest before the semester resumes.

And yea, back to the main point. I went for a religious talk cum philosophical talk by a professor at Oakland (I have no idea where it is, seriously). I would say that he's a great speaker since he does all of those that were taught in SPCH 105 (the peeps who took this class would know what I'm talking about... the eye contact, the hand gestures, how he connected with the audience, saying something that relates to us, and entertaining us - without any cue cards). Well, I guess that it’s something that we could expect from a professor. What I remember most from his talk (I only went for one of the four sessions) was the point he made about anxiety, about how people are anxious because we are constantly expected to make choices. I totally agree with this, as I tend to stress out, or sometimes, to the extreme, get depressed because of the overflow of decisions that I have to make. i.e. how should I put my ideas into a paper, which approach should I take to finish up this assignment, whether it is appropriate to tell a certain person about what I'm going through and the list goes on. Now that I think of it, life was way simpler when my parents made all the decision for me. Having said that, I realize how ungrateful I was when I was younger, trying to become a rebellious kid, doing the exact opposite of what I was told to (Not going to elaborate on this :P). Oh well, I guess you'll never learn until you've experienced it. Moreover, I wouldn't be who I am right now, if things were done differently, if I was a 100% obedient kid. I won't be as extroverted as I am now, B-S'ing most of the time, and most importantly, meet all of you (my friends) whom I really treasure.

Other than the informational yet entertaining talk, I had good food over the weekend. First (friday evening + night), I had some "spicy chicken" with a couple of side dishes (like RIIIICCEE, well rice is not a side dish =.=") for dinner AND supper on the same day of the talk. It was super-licious SUPER DELICIOUS! There were peanuts (yeap the BIG ONES), the jelly kind of dessert, HARD BOIL EGG :D and so on. Then (saturday evening), I had CURRY over at Tom's place. It was so nostalgic - the smell of curry, the taste of it, and the sawthroat that I have to go through after that (since I haven't been eating spicy stuff since I got back) And yeah~ I had RICE AGAIN!!!!! yup~ my all time favorite :D. On the same night, I tried something new and thought that it was really good ~ something different from what I would normally consume, also thanks to the courtesy of Tom LOL (I'm so in love with your kitchen right now!ROFL)

Above every other thing, I watched "Final Destination 3" , something that most of my friends would have least expected me to watch. It is definitely one of the few movies that would stick in my mind for sometime =.=" Had to watch another movie to balance things up :P

Finally (as of 1.33p.m.), I went to another church to experience what is it like to attend Sunday school. Really enjoyed the mixture of rock-ish and soothing music. Looking at the drummer and the pianist on stage really made me want to play those instruments once more. How I miss the days when I hit the drum(s) while teaching my juniors about strokes and rolls in high school, blow the ever so high pitched piccolo and trying on other different instruments like the trumpet, the euphonium, the trombone, and the tuba. GO CBN BAND! :P

    TTYL. Ciaoz

p/s: my weekend starts on friday owing to the fact that I do not have any classes on Friday (yeah.. envy me :D)

    The final product

Just wanted to show you guys what I did over the night (yea... I didn't sleep last night) Do leave me with some comments. Will write about the assignment itself in another entree as soon as I have the time to do so...

Gonna study for marketing test after a little bit of what I call PARADISE (the world of JAPANESE ANIMATION - ANIME RULEZ!) <-- this is bullshit! Was too tired to do all these and had to study like a MAD DOG after my first morning class. On top of that, I did some careless mistakes.. sighz.. (its over, I don't care - again, JUST DO IT! )

p/s: interview was SUPER BRIEF... will see if I get a second round of interview :P <-- didn't get it~ Ohwell, I guess I'll just try harder next time =.="

Special thanks to Tom, Winnie and Cindy for giving me suggestions as to how I can improve the ads

    Tiresome

It has been a very tiring week. i'm sure most of you would have noticed the boring time-log and to do lists in my previous entry.
Currently waiting for my files to transfer to my friends computer so that he can print it out for me - got more to do before I could take a rest. The best part is the fact that I've an interview tomorrow, MORNING, before class! And hooray~ I'll be showing my professor the non-edited version draft for my 2nd assignment (according to the person in the writing center- there's lots of adjustment to be made) JUST GREAT!! LIFE IS GREAT!~ keep going, don't stop! It's too exciting to stop right now~....

    I'm nuts (just ignore me)

Alright! I'm tired already. Shall upload more pictures next time IF I get good response :D. I know, I know... lame is the best word to describe what I am doing now LOLz. Anyways, hope you enjoy the "CRAZY PICTURES". Will be waiting to see your responses!

    Super Bad Day

It was a BAD BAD day today. I wouldn't say that life was perfect before this, but what I've confronted today might have triggered the time bomb in me, causing me to stress out more than ever before. I know that there's nothing fancy about writing depressing stuffs, but I feel like writing about it anyways. So here goes~

    Bag in the bus

I decided to take the bus (for a change - instead of walking) to my second class of the day. As soon as I got into the building, I realized that I forgot my bag pack. So I decided to run back to the bus station (which was a few blocks away) to see if I could find my bag. Luckily, I found my bag in the same bus (2.55p.m). However, I had a class at 3.00p.m, so, I had to run back to the building and was late for a minute or so. The professor didn't look too pleased with me and I really have a bad feeling about this.

    Wrong bus

Went to the library on the same day to do some last minute studying for one of the advertising classes with one of my course mate. Everything was fine until I realized that we took the wrong bus. In the end, my friend had to walk to another bus station (which was pretty far away) by herself to catch the other bus. I really feel bad for her as she could have walked back to her dorms from the library, instead of accompanying me. Not to mention, it was really late at night =.="

I really wonder what is it that is causing all these stress. Could it be seasonal depression - Do I really miss the SUN that much? OR am I the one who's creating these artificial stress. I really do not know what's happening and I really hope that things will get better because I seriously dislike the depressed version of myself.
