Something I did for class

Cheers!

I have a sexy voice, NOT!

Ola!

I think the whole food testing from last night caused it.
And you know what? I totally forgot to bring my lunch for today.
Nyeh... I overslept today and barely had the time to use the bathroom.

Nasty!

Asian Art's Museum, Chinatown

Went to the Asian Art's Museum earlier today, and was pretty amazed by the collection that they had. I was surprised by a few things actually. They had a bunch of keris from Indonesia as well as the money tree (we totally studied about this thing in secondary school, and it's actually quite big this thing). On top of that, plenty of statues of deities in overlapping religion (Buddhism and Hinduism). There was also quite a few statues of Guan Yin. And as usual, plenty of Buddha, Shiva's and Vishnu's. I'd like to say that it's quite impossible for me to describe all the things that I saw, therefore, it's best for me to leave it to the pictures.

===

Ate at chinatown because they decided that they were hungry (they as in, people that I went to the museum with). Had mapo tofu and curry chicken (5 bucks per person, since we decided to only order 2 sets). Have got to cook tomorrow!

===

There has been progress with homework. At the very least, I am about to complete whatever that's due tomorrow. What's left essentially is HW that's due on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. Ganbatteh!

Chinatown part 2

Went to Chinatown to "re-fill" my empty fridge and it costs about 12 USD in total! Totally amazed. However, I was a little dissapointed that I did not look for buttons there first because I got a packet that had multiple colors for less than 2 bucks (there was safety pins in there too). Nevertheless, the previous purchases was still a good buy. On top of that, I finally got an umbrella, so that's good.

===

So for this week, I bought minced meat, french beans, bean sprouts, red onions, and garlic from the shop. I also went on to buy a can of salt (59 cents). We'll see what I will be making out of this.

===

On the way back, I bought 2 lotus biscuits from a bakery. YUM

===

I have my refill of banana as well

===

I have so many wires now. Maybe I'll make an exotic lamp

This was in a supermarket

Maybe I should make soup

Berkeley and buttons

Went to berkeley to get more supplies for the last assignment on Project 1 for 3D. Will probably need to put in a lot of hours this time around (definitely taking pictures and putting them on here once it's completed :D). Besides, monday's not a holiday, and I've got a lot more hw to do this time

Some pictures...

Maybe food for 2/3 days

===

Vege's not as fresh, so I'm not going to post the picture

===

Am thinking about making tomato sausage with onion, egg with tofu (soft) + meat + tomato, fried tofu (hard) with tau gee.
That's all that I could think of for next week. And maybe more banana and kai lan!

Cheers

p/s: I'm a little ticked off by a certain someone who may have conveniently pronounce to the whole world about me. But well, it may as well be my over analyzation.

HW!!!!!

I think I'm going to cook something to eat first.

Bye

Tuesday, January 19

Only lasted for a day

Having said that, I'll have to figure out something again for thursday (a dorm mate offered briyani rice for dinner tomorrow.. YAY!) But hey... at least I have lots of cooked brown rice that I could use for the next few days.

===

I was talking to my room mate about off-campus housing, and it really seemed like it would be much cheaper to live outside. I guess I'll have to scout around, as well as look for people who would be interested in living together.

===

I finally have a better understanding of the whole modern art concept (thanks to a bunch of reading and googling sessions). Art history seem to be a repetition of some things that we learnt in secondary school.

===

Hopefully all goes well

Later

p/s: I remember dad asking me how did the train (BART) travel from Oakland to SF. Apparently, it travels underwater.

My dinner for the next 2 days

(hopefully it's enough)

Kailan tasted really good, for some reason. I think I'm going to get the other vegetable that momma always cook using the same method.

Later

Monday, January 18

SFMOMA

And so, as planned, we went to SFMOMA (San Francisco Museum of the Modern Arts) today. There were lots of interesting things to see, and the fact that it was free admissions day makes it even better! I'm just going to post some interesting pictures while trying to finish up more homework

===

Sometimes I feel very intimidated when I see other people's work. (or in today's case, heard) I guess I'll just have to learn to be inspired instead. I've got to remember that ultimately, I'm competing with myself. The sky is the limit!

===

It's hard when you want to be good at everything, so badly...
