A majority of my first week was spent on recuperating from the final week of school: lots of eating and sleeping. Of course, I had the opportunity to do a test run on the whole tour guide thing with the mid-west people--Ah Piong and Ah Imm--for a day of two. Then came the Wong family, shivering half the time when they were here. We spent lots of quality time together: cooking (mostly mom and myself), watching korean drama (uhuh... come all the way to US), outlet shopping, and finally, helping Ah Bee settle down in Minneapolis. Other than the scissors landing itself in the Taiwanese immigration, everything went well (I think).
And so, I've begun to start the wheel: doing back-ups and refining some projects that I will potentially use for my portfolio. Hopefully, by the end of this break, I'd still be able to accomplish part of what I've planned out to do: learn Processing, put together a portfolio (online + paper) and really figure out what I want to do for the remaining semesters in CCA.
Allrightee, I shall end this post with some selected images from the family's visit.
Civil Engineer in the makingp/s: It's probably a tad too late, but Happy New Year!

Well written. You have been great throughout and we enjoyed ourselves tremendously, albeit as you said, shivering most of the time. Glad that you know what you want and we have no doubt at all that you would accomplish what you set out for.

Er, why suddenly your blog only display one post per page? Not nice! :(
