I'm really pumped up! Why, you ask? Because...
ADV492 has finally started! And I feel good about it (at least for now).
Henry Brimmer, our professor is one awesome graphic artist. He has ample experience in the field. And I am convinced that he'll lead me that way, to guide me prepare myself an up-to-industry-standard portfolio. Nevertheless, I feel the pressure from taking this course. He (Henry) emphasized that there will be lots work. Oh well, (again, I'm constantly reminded that) with good stuff comes great sacrifice.
Putting that aside; I've been doing pretty well in the other courses (other than THAT one). No doubt, I've been busy with assignments. Nevertheless, I've been having a good time (again, other than THAT one) layout designing. Did I mention that my professor was amazed by one of my work? The one with the title, "wings". Somehow, it sounds like buffalo wings at the moment. Maybe I'm hungry.
I must say that I'm gifted in wasting time. Busy schedule. Mountains of assignments. Yet, I'm amazed that I could still squeeze in some leisure time in my already-apparent hectic schedule. I guess that's called, "time-waste management".
And so, I spent my weekend doing several things. Went to Conrad for "Pirates of the Carribean 2" with Tim and Joe. Then, to Crossing Place. Monopolied till 4:00a.m. Crazy, I know. What to do? No one volunteered to declare brankruptcy. The next day, slacked the whole day (if I didn't remember wrongly). Then ate at Omi with a party of 10.
On the sunny day, I wasn't throwing frisbee. Instead, we (a few people) went to the Main Library. I "devoured" 12 issues of Times. Four issues of Newsweek. Four issue of Wall Street Journal (I'm getting this for free at COMArts entrance now. Hooray!). With the hopes to learn something useful (for my "THAT" class assignment). Never found any desired ads. Was a little dissapointed. Yes. I had dinner at the library. Three dishes for four, anyone? I went home around midnight. It was definitely a reminiscense of Spring semester.
All right. It's time to do some work. Yes. You've got it right. It's work for "THAT" class. Plus some preparation for tomorrow. And the day after.
I proudly annouce, "I'm still alive" (at this moment).
